It is with great satisfaction that we present the Proceedings of the Anais do Congresso Internacional de Tecnologias e Inovação em Gerontologia e Geriatria (CIITGG) [International Congress on Technologies and Innovation in Gerontology and Geriatrics] and the III Seminário Internacional de Inovação e Longevidade [3rd International Seminar on Innovation and Longevity], events held in partnership between the University of Santo Amaro (UNISA) and Rede Geronto. This volume brings together abstracts (in English) that reflect the collective effort of researchers, faculty, students, and professionals dedicated to the study of human aging in its multiple dimensions.

Gerontology and geriatrics have been consolidated as strategic fields in the context of demographic and epidemiological transition, in which increasing population longevity imposes new challenges on public health, science, technology, and social policies. In this context, the works presented here highlight the vitality of Brazilian scientific production, exploring innovative solutions for elderly care, assistive technologies, health management, educational practices, and the promotion of active and healthy aging. The abstracts published in this volume demonstrate not only thematic diversity but also interdisciplinarity as an essential hallmark of aging research.

We also emphasize the relevance of the opportunities for exchange and debate provided by CIITGG and the International Seminar, which have become privileged forums for strengthening science and innovation in the field of aging. The publication of these Proceedings therefore fulfills a dual role: preserving the academic memory of the event and broadening the circulation of ideas, results, and proposals presented.

May this material serve as inspiration for new research, public policies, and professional practices committed to the dignity, quality of life, and rights of the elderly population. We believe that each contribution recorded here reinforces the construction of a more inclusive, supportive society, prepared for the challenges and opportunities of longevity.
